You will ensure compliance with global data protection and AI regulations while enabling business growth in a highly regulated and technology-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Advise on compliance with data and AI-related regulations (e.g. GDPR, EU AI Act, HIPAA, NIS 2). Conduct risk assessments and oversee implementation of mitigation measures. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and contract standards for data and AI governance. Embed compliance frameworks into key business areas such as IT, HR, Operations, and Procurement. Provide legal support for new business initiatives, including contract drafting and negotiation. Deliver internal training and promote awareness of data and AI legal requirements. Contribute to cross-functional compliance projects and legal tech initiatives. Your Profile: Fully qualified lawyer with several years’ experience in data protection and IT law. Background in a regulated industry, ideally life sciences, pharma, or biotech. Strong expertise in GDPR and emerging AI regulation. Additional certifications (e.g. CIPP/E) are beneficial.
